I need some advice on a problem I have with a pop up window displaying a custom form. the pop up uses the javascript open() command and works fine, however when the form opens in its new window it does not send the detsils to the email address its configured to. Also it does not display the thank you message after submission. I have several other forms on the site that work fine but not being displayed in a popup window. Si I assume this is the problem. Does javascript affect the ability of the form submission and operation. I have to do this as it is a job application form and the applicant needs to be able to see the job details whilst filling out the form.
A better way would be to have the form partly filled out with the job reference and job type when the apply link is clicked, then the applicant only need fill out their personal details, can this easily be done? My dev skills are not that advanced.
