CMS MadeSimple running slow

Hello!
Ive been using CMS made simple version 1.6 and later versions. Everything sems to work out well except the loadingtime for the homepage is way to long the first time you enter the page. When its loaded in the cache it loads faster but when you visit the homepage the first time it takes alot of time to load.

I´m using webhotell www.one.com for my homepages. Can it be some kind of problem with the database or something? I have also try using loopia.se but its the same problem.

Hi MrBech

I've got one site with One.com.
Frontend, backend and even FTP is very slow... Sometimes ends up in a blank screen.

For me: time to change host.

I have the same problem with one.com but strangely enough only with websites I activated during the last 10 month. Older sites all work perfect.

i think this is mainly a case of getting what you pay for... 

if you go with a cheap host that offers 'unlimited', or insanely large amounts of, disk space and/or bandwidth.. you should expect the worst.

sounds like their more recently-deployed servers are overcrowded... while their older servers have had defections and they haven't packed more accounts on 'em yet to replace those users that did wise-up and leave.
