BABEL help really wanted!

Dear Friends

I have discovered CSMms and was very happy about it !

Yet I am not a programmer, so i am having difficulties in setting up multilingual site using babel.
I have! tried several solutions from this forum, but did not succeed...
I tried CMSms standard and multilingual version as well.

I am using linux box, apache2, CMSms Version 1.7.1,  PHP 5.2.6-1+lenny8 and MYSQL 5.0.51a.


So i would like to kindly ask someone to make a post with steps describing howto to make multilingual site using babel or CMSms multilingual version.

EDIT: This way you don't need the MLE-Version - only the standard CMSms

Hi, thank you for answer

But the problem is, that using that forum, i cant get it running. I lack some knowledge .....

Now i got so far that using CMSms MLE latest versio, i can partly get shown menu in two languages, but it still does not work properly, because when EN is enabled DE does not show menu context, and other way around.

I was looking for some "howto" type walktrough, not too much in details, just to get me runing

ok - I tested the babel (a fine thing if it works  ) - i couldn't get work version 0,3,4 - it shows wrong languages (for german i got espanol p.e.) - I write  note in the other thread.

Try the version 0.3.3 - the only you have to show for is that the hierarchy should be the same, then you can change language at each site.

for example:

1. en
1.1 About me
1.2 About anothers

2. de
2.2 Über mich
2.2 Über andere

aso.

Then you set your languages at bable - how to use menu is explained in the help

and you are ready to go ......
