i'm new here but already i LOVE this CMS, it's just the perfect balance of "simple" and "powerful".
my idea for a module would be a catalog.
as you know, organizations like Mudeum etc don't have much money! using an opensource cms to update their own content is *very* interesting for them.
my father is curator for a museum in belgium and he asked me to create the site.. with catalog for his objects, where he can add them all (1500+ objects!).
can somebody think of a way to create an effective Catalog module? (not to be confused with ecommerce.. nothing is for sale!)
basically it needs to be just normal content, but there will be MANY subpages (perhaps even 8 levels deep?) and great would be "related objects" blob maybe?
i'm a young php user, but i am willign to code it.. just have no idea where to start! i've consulted the API and need to learn some more first..
i was wondering, mjaybe someone can help with this module? i can perhaps paypal you a symbollic amount (10eur or something).. its non-profit, my father doesn't pay me! :p
