possible to hide update notes in backend for all users excepting the administrator?

Site Admin » Global Settings >Advanced Setup -> checkbox "Allow users to view notifications (notifications will be displayed on all admin pages)"

[NaN]

But this will disable the notifications for all users.
Even the admin is not able to see update informations.
It would be nice to have a group related setting (like the permissions).
