unable to link to site pages via text editor

hi,

i have tried creatign a text link on one of my pages and whilst im in teh text editor and i selecte the text i want to create the link on, and then click the link icon, it takes me to a window that only gives me the option to type ot the url manually.

normal text editors give you the option to select to link to another page on the site by clicking on a drop down that lists all teh pages and selecting it, instead you having to go to the page itself, and copy the url and then paste it in there.

its also a mission when you want to link to sub pages that are hidden as you have to make the page live and visible in the menu first, copy the url, then hide the page again - very tedious!

does anyone no a way around this?

You simply used the wrong button.
There is another one to link to CMS pages.
