Internal page link, page still accessible?

Post by marcovit »

Like the title says, internal page link, page still accessible?

I got a few pages that work as a internal page link,

sitename.com/bla/ -> siteaname/bla/hello
sitename.com/boo/ -> sitename/boo/dunno

As u can see i redirect the page to a sub-page.

The problem is that sitename.com/bla/ and sitename.com/boo/ still are accessible if u type it directly into your browser.
There is no content in it because there are internal links but still.. i dont want them to go tere  ;)

Is there a way to fix this?
A redirect in the content page of "bla" or "boo" results in a endless loop.  ???

why not use a regular page content type, and put a redirect in the content?

I never will understand this redirect to a child page thing, why not just have a page with content if nothing else use a sectionheader...

This was fixed in 1.7.1, which is the current stable. Are you running 1.7.1?
