[SOLVED] Fresh Install 1.7 / No WYSIWYG (TinyMCE) showing

Post by jtcreate »

New install on one server... TinyMCE not showing for pages. New install on another server, TinyMCE is fully functional. Not sure where to start on this... Any thoughts?

Thx in advance for your help.

As always with TinyMCE - reset all setting to default. Usually it helps.

Thank you. I tried that, but still no luck. I also uninstalled and reinstalled. Any other possible thoughts? I could delete it and re-upload...
Mmmmm... Tasty.

try checking and unchecking the static config file box under advanced settings. saving settings each time.

This worked for me.

Helped me as well.
And I had forgotten all about this setting, which in my case also as to be ON (new hosting, not familiar with).

I did not think after a few years of practice with our favourite CMS I would get tricked by old stuff  ;D

Lot's of karma sent your way, guys!

Have the same problem.

Three methodes did not work.

- Re-installed TinyMCE
- reset all settings
- static config file box on/off

?  Any more idea?
