[SOLVED] TinyMCE stopped working with 1.7.1

I just did an upgrade from 1.5.4. to 1.7.1. I did it as a full upgrage, not with diffs.

All seems to be working except for TinyMCE. Where should be TinyMCE editor, is only a bar filled with grey.

I checked and my modules directory is CHMOD 555 (this used to be a problem back in the days) and TinyMCE is selected as the editor.

If you read the whole change log that is presented on the first page of upgrade it will tell you all about tiny and how to fix any problems...

I did a search through the search and Google and I supposedly read the changelog, but this is what I see at the changelog:

TinyMCE:
- #4769 It's possible to crash TinyMCE by crafting strange titles on pages
- Updated to TinyMCE 3.3.2
- Added a plugin-hook allowing module writes to add pieces of functionality
- Allowed inplace resizing of editor
- Updated to TinyMCE 3.3.3

Throw me a frigging bone here, guys.

try uninstrall TinyMCE, then install tinyMCE. It worked for me under previous versions of CMS Made Simple

Well that was simple and worked like a charm! Thanks a bunch, man. Two clicks and now it works again.

Sorry I meant the Read me, and it seems this versions read me doesn't meant the problems one might have with tiny, but a quick search of the forum would have turned up many many threads about it...

I have 1.6.7 clean install

1) TinyMCE was working fine
2) Went for coffee
3) TinyMCE went missing

removed, un-installed, re-installed, nothing.

Anyone?
