Gallery - desactivate auto thumbmail generation

Hello,

I want to deactivate the auto thumbnail generation with the gallery module.
I use individual thumbs, but the thumbnail generation delete my own thumbs...
Please help me.

Yep, it's the auto-update function that deletes your thumbs. It detects that the thumb doesn't match with settings in the template and creates a new one.  8)

Sorry, it is not possible to shut it off.

I suggest you to use the Album module  ;)

Album uses Image Manager to make the thumbs, but it should take yours if they are named correctly, thumb_image.jpg, you can also set thumb sizes now in global settings which will make the size according to which edge of the image is largest...

Gallery can do that too but that's not the issue here    It's about Album not updating thumbs in case they don't match with the thumb-settings

Album doesn't reset, you must delete existing thumbs and regenerate them...
