Hello, I have a site that has 2 domains pointing to a CMSMS site. I understand that cmsms only supports one domain/site... So how do i explain to a customer that this is not a good idea. He keeps telling me that if the whole site has relative links then it should work fine.. I am using relative links and sometimes it still switches over to the primary default domain that i installed cms made simple with also in the config.php... also any time i go to a page with a form created with form builder it switches to default domain as well. How do i explain why this is happening and convince him to forward all domains to the default one cms made simple was installed on? Or do i have this all wrong should this work ok?
Thanks

This is what I tell these cleint.. "Google will de-index you... don't beleive me then look it up yourself, or trust that fact that you came to me is because I know about the web and you don't." Ok.. I don't say it that short but you get the idea.. 301 of all the site to the 1 you want as the main.. Hope that helps.. Cheers -Jeremy

thanks that helps and sorry did not relize i posted this 2 times.. I thought it did not work first time.. but i was looking in wrong area..
Re: Help with moron customer
no sweat.. also fyi.. if you have two sites that are different... then two domains or ok.. but if they are the same then at that point you run the risk of being de-indexed... Cheers -Jeremy

You can use a service like Zoneedit to have one of the domain names act the same as the other. I've used it a lot and had no problems with cmsms or google. If you set it to "ghost" or hidden mode, it shouldn't affect anything.
