Hello everyone,
I have two admin accounts. they have identical group assignments (meaning they have identical permissions). One account is the account used during setup, and other is an admin account added a few hours later.
They seem identical in user preferences and everything. However, I go into a page as the newer admin I can see the Additional Editors Section while of the page, just under the page-alias box. If I log in as the original admin account. I can't see it.
This is so confusing. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Re: Two Admin accounts behaving differently.
this is normal behaviour
additional editors can only be set by the page owner.
though maybe it should change.

Re: Two Admin accounts behaving differently.
cypherdog,
could you explain a bit more.
1. On what version are you?
2. You have 2 accounts that both belong to the group "admin", right?
3. Pages created by one of them, shows a different options-tab for the other?

Re: Two Admin accounts behaving differently.
Hi RonnyK,
1) 1.6.6
2) right.
3) Yes, but even more than that it shows a different Main tab as well.
I've attached screenshots.
In the first two images it shows what it looks like when I log in as my "Main" admin account (the one that was created on install). It lacks the Additional Editors in the Main sections as well as lacks the Owners dropdown in the Options section.
The Admin 2 (one I created after the install) can see both of those options.
Both pages were created by a 3rd user that has very basic permissions original (similar to an editor).
Any ideas?
Let me know if I can provide any more information.
Thanks for your help again RonnyK.
Also, thanks Calguy1000. Though if your right, I do think it needs to change, cause admins should probably get to see this stuff always.
(sorry if this double posts, something went wrong while trying to attach these files)

Re: Two Admin accounts behaving differently.
could you check what happens on latest, as cmsms is already 3 versions further.
Current is 1.7.1.
I will do some more checking, I do see a difference in the setup, concerning testing

Re: Two Admin accounts behaving differently.
Thanks RonnyK
I'm going to attempt and update in a bit, this is a production site, so my update may take some time.
I will respond back and let you know.
Thanks for your quick response.

Re: Two Admin accounts behaving differently.
Hi RonnyK,
Upgraded, but it appears to behave the same. I have no idea what it could be.
Any ideas? Anything you can think of that I might try?
Thanks.

Re: Two Admin accounts behaving differently.
Sorry RonnyK, I'm behind a intranet firewall.
I've done a bit more investigation and it does appear to be page specific. Some pages show the additional editors and some don't. At least for Admin1, Admin2 seems to see them everytime. I"m still digging around.
Maybe its a ownership issue on the page.
Regards.

Re: Two Admin accounts behaving differently.
Ownership shouldnt be the issue, as both belong to the admin-group.
