Can CMSMS use a template to serve various images?

Hello all: I have a hundred or so technical drawings - gif files of architectural details - that I want to offer on my website. I know this is possible w/ HTML but I have to provide a separate page file for each image. Can CMSMS reuse the same template to serve any image?

Yes that's possible - That's one of the easiest exercises of CMSms

No that's not quite it.
    Page 1 w/ Picture 1
    Page 1 w/ picture 21
    Page 1 w/ picture 7  ... etc, etc ...

That would work fine in some ways but I need a framework that allows me to tag each image with multiple searchable metadata tags.

I review architectural plans for architects and write reports about errors. I want to be able to insert hyperlinks into these reports to deliver images to illustrate my comments.

This can be done with a static site but eventually I will be converting the site to a subscription reference service and need some of the other features that a CMS offers. Just trying to wade through all the modules, nodes, templates and whatnot. I am not a power programmer; more like an all around technical guy looking into my options.

check out the uploads module.  Like most of my modules it's made for multiple purposes, which means it has to be custom fitted to every application.

But it supports adding information to every information, and supports summary and detail views. and integrates with the CMSMS search.
