NMS repeat email on subscribe screen and captcha

Hi

NMS newsletter module is working very well but I have a problem with subscribers entering the wrong email or miss-spelling which of course is not a module problem, but on several sites other similar web sites I see there is an extra field to enter the email twice and have both entries checked / compared

Also gettng quite a bit of spam through. Is there a way to add a Captcha to the subscribe form? Have looked on the module help but cannot see a reference to it.

Any ideas?
