Upgrade failed V1.5.2 - 1.7.1 [SOLVED]

I'm a little panic-stricken.

At www.domain/install/upgrade.php

I get this error.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /homepages/23/d276666604/htdocs/lib/test.functions.php  on line 29

Checked the line of code. Nothing seems wrong. PLEASE HELP.

Version 5.0. I check B4 attempting upgrade

That was it folks.

A little tweak to the htaccess file and I was good to go. It's just been a while. Have done it before... but when you don't do it regularly.. it gets archived in the brain.

For those watching this threat with baited breath.. just add this to your .htaccess file.

AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
