[Closed] Admin area stylesheet doesn't load on first attempt

Post by tpohare »

I've installed CMS Made Simple 1.7 on IIS7. Everything seems to work fine except when a user tries to login using IE6 (nothing I can do to get them to use another browser) the stylesheet is missing every time a page loads in the admin area. Refreshing the page brings in the stylehseet. I've repeated the problem dozens of times on different computers. It only happens in IE6, and only on the first page load. Is this is known issue and how do I fix it?

We DO NOT SUPPORT IE6 as an admin browser.
Haven't for a very long time.

You may want to try linking to an external Stylesheet.

I had issues with Safari and Chrome with Blank Pages.

Removing the Stylesheet from the CMS and linking relative as you would when building a site without the CMS to the css file fixed my issue in a snap.
