FATAL ERROR: function Execute() non-object in lib/classes/class.events.inc.php

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Changing index.php may not be a good idea, have your host change the order in which the server looks for extensions, most are set to look for .html first then .php and others, if you have an index.html in the same root as index.php and it is trying to fire/trigger index.php then they need to make the changes...

You probably have a module which is preventing the install process. Try removing or renaming "non-original" modules from the module folder.
