[solved] E-Mail address not released

Hi,
when I delete a user his email address is not released. No other user can register with this address.

OK. Sorry.
I am running CMS 1.6.6 with PHP 5.
I entered a user manually with his email address (ie. jack@uvwxyz.de). I then deleted the user manually. Now comes karin@uvwxyz.de. When she tries to register (SelfRegistration 1.2.6) the system says email address already in use. The registration fails.
How can i delete (free) the address?

Sorry again. Now I got confused.
The address von Jack was info@uvwxyz.de. Karin wants to use the same adress. This is not possible.

Did you remove it just from self reg. or did you also remove it from FEU?...

Thank you for your reply. In the meantime I found an option where I could set that more than one user can use the same mail address.
