Everything being duplicated

Post by kingdave9 »

Hi there, long time user, first time poster :)

I just upgraded from 1.4.1 to 1.6.7. Everything looks alright but there are a few issues I can't figure out.

The biggest one is that everything is being duplicated.

On top of that TinyMCE isn't working, it looks like it only partially loads with no options.

There also appears to be funny symbols inserted with the content, but I can remove those manually.

Any help would be appreciated esp with the duplicate content!

Thx.

In config.php: I changed: $config['process_whole_template'] = false; to true and everything appears to be fine now...

Still no luck with TinyMCE but it's time for a nap :)

In the upgrade release notes there is a section just for tiny, read it for how to get tiny back...

KingDave,

I have not ever experienced that particular problem, but the upgrade jump you made was pretty big.  What I would try is to go back to your working install (providing you backed it up) and climb up to the newer version through incremental updates (paying attention to see if something breaks along the way).

It's a bunch of work, but I don't have any better advice.
