Uploads Mod - downloads have wrong EXT (have .htm not .pdf)

Can't seem to get downloads (via Uploads Mod) to download with the correct extension. I have this in a page:

{cms_module module="Uploads" category="LOC Essentials" mode="link" upload_id="1"}

When user clicks link, the file is offered for download but it has an .htm ext.

The correct file does download, because when I manually change ext to .pdf then all is fine, but user's won't realise this?
