mysql and scms

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Most likely it is not the password, or your database has not been set up yet.

1) With most hosting, you need to wait for about 30 minutes for the database to be set up

2) Do not forget about all the other info like host (for some hosting, this is not localhost), db name, username, password.

3) Call your hosting provider as this is not really CMSMS's problem.

Also, this forum is for support of CMS Made Simple, not SimpleCMS.  Not sure if you made a mistake in your post and meant to refer to CMSms, or if you are really looking for support for SimpleCMS.

or CMSimple

Edit: Nevermind... CMSimple doesn't use a database.
