WYSIWYG not working when I click

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

WYSIWYG not working when I click

Post by fearmydesign »

I am trying to edit my pages on my new installation, but when I check the "Turn WYSIWYG on/off", nothing happens? the icons above do not show up? can there be something wrong with the installation? Any suggestions that I can try?

Thank you

You can try uploading the files again.

Nulling, thank you for your response. Do you think that this happened because I used FTP Filezilla instead of shell to upload and install my CMSmadeSimple?

When you say "upload all the files again", do you mean that I have to reinstalll everything again? or just re-upload the image files?

Thank you again

Well, I have already uploaded my template and made many cosmetic changes. It is version 1.6.6 "Bonde"

A few things you can do to restore/get tiny to work, besides searching the forum where this has been answered 35 million thousand times, but since your so important and busy and all, I'll write it down here again...

1) Go to tiny admin and on advanced tab down near bottom hit the "reset all settings to default" button...

2) Set Modules and tiny's folders permissions to 755 then try admin again...

3) Sometimes after setting permissions or before you can go to extensions > modules and hit uninstall then hit install for tiny...
