version compatibility

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

In general upgrade process should go smoothly and as described in documentation.

1. Backup files and DB of working site
2. Create test site from backup
3. Upgrade test site to latest CMSms version
4. Solve small issues after upgrade
5.
  a. If during this time original site has not changed, just upload files and import DB data from test site to working one.
  b. If working site have changed, do the same steps to it, you have done to upgrade your test site.
6. (Optional) Smiley If something goes wrong on step 5 - blame yourself for not creating backup in first place.
...i have a big problem with version 1.3
I bet you have :)

As addition:
I did an upgrade from 1.3 to 1.6.7 this week.
