Create shortcut to clear the cache?

Post by jmcgin51 »

Is there a way to add a shortcut for clearing the cache?  I'd like to add this to the Admin Shortcut panel, so that I don't have to go to Global Settings every time.  I can just expand my Admin Shortcuts and click "Clear Cache", and boom, it's done.

Is this possible?  I know how to add shortcuts, but I'm not sure how to handle the XSS security variable at the end of the URL.

I think the link would be something like:
http://www.mysite.com/admin/siteprefs.p ... ache=clear

but this doesn't work.  It redirects to the login page.
