[SOLVED] Gallery module tabs not working

I installed the Gallery module. Things seem to work but I still have to find out some things yet.

Can someone give me a clue how it comes my tabs are not working?
See attached picture for what I see when I go to "content - galllery"
The tabs doensn't seem to work

Maybe this is because you use the old admin theme?

Please turn debug to true in the config.php and see if there are any error-messages. Also look at the html sourcecode for errors

Making progress... sorted out how to remove the "thanks for installing" phrase, that come up when I placed the {gallery} tag in my page. (edited the nl_NL.php file, deinstalled and reinstalled the module)

Tabs keeps me curious.

Look at menu "beeld" in your browser, and choose "bron" (IE) or "paginabron" (FF)

An easier way would be to clear the gallery commentfield    But since you don't have tabs in the admin, you didn't see this.

Found an error in the html-source.
The last line ends with:
ERROR: You have an error in your SQL syntax near '(IF(g1.filepath='','','/') AS BINARY),g1.filename) ASC' at line 13

How bad is that

It could well be that your mySQL version is way to old  ??? ...   Your old php version also won't let you use any of Calguy's modules

solution:

edited the Gallery.module.php

find:

replaced with:
