2 unknow problem: news module con't see nothing, ellnav module error

Hi,
in a new server I have this 2 problems:
1. when I open News module under content menu, Im see only the label of the tab and nothing at all
about the rest (img1.jpg)
2. in the standard template I use there is this tag:
{cms_module module='EllNav' cssid='leftmenu' showtoplevel=0}
and when the pages is loaded the error is:
Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/tenso/web/modules/EllNav/EllNav.module.php on line 218
and the strange is that the path of the server is http://mxasp1.nexa.it/tensoweb/ and not http://mxasp1.nexa.it/tenso/web/; moreover there are other strange message in the page (img2.jpg)

With respect to your news problem, if you look at the source for the page, you'll probably find an ERROR line in there someplace.  that would help us to figure out what's going on.

right observation, but I view the source on both the server, the right one and the trash one, and there are not error, the only difference is that the trash one end before

clear your cache, have you done that? And is JavaScript on in your browser? what is your internetspeed? have you tried it turning the editor off in your preferences?

Well, we reassume:
I have the same installation, with the obviouse difference in the config file, in 2 different server, near 2 different internet service provider;
one of these don't have any problem,
the other has the problems about which I am speaking;
both declare linux+php+apache+mysql

I try to clear cache, disable editor but nothing change
