I installed CGCalendar without any difficulties. If I use the default display="calendar" the module works fine:
{cms_module module="CGCalendar" display="calendar"}
But when I try to change to display="yearlist" or display="list" I get the following errors:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method CGCalendar::GetSmarty() in /home/www/charliep/modules/CGCalendar/function.displayyearlist.php on line 42
Fatal error: Call to undefined method CGCalendar::GetSmarty() in /home/www/charliep/modules/CGCalendar/function.displaylist.php on line 42
Has anybody had any experience with this CGCalendar which might explain this? Thanks!

I solved the problem by uninstalling CGCalendar and installing Calendar. Even though Calendar is presently not supported / not being updated it seems that it is better / less buggy than CGCalendar.
The problem in CGCalendar was occurring with the default files: I had changed nothing in the Templates, etc. I just typed in an event so I could get it formatted properly but never got that far. So I guess this could be qualified as a BUG. Anyway, I was on a tight schedule, and it seems to me Calendar has just as many features as CG Calendar and is less buggy, so I went with it.
For those who have still not chosen a Calendar program, I also tried EventsListing which was ... Non functional. It was a REALLY basic script that I think would not be very useful for most people.
