My first cmsms site

Post by dmaireroa »

Hey yall

I have finally finished transferring my website over to cmsms and very impressed with cmsms. There is still more to learn about cmsms, and will continue to discover more.

This is website studio: http://www.dmaireroa.com

I originally had this site built in PHP, and thought to myself why or is it worth building it in cms? Now that I have seen the result, I very please to have used cmsms and to have this new set of skills of using a cms  ;).
I am still in the process of adding more to my website and hopefully to see the final stages in a year or 2.

Your feedback and opinions are most welcome.

CHEERS :)

Another bum link ...

On the http://www.dmaireroa.com/?page=service-print page, the first link, http://www.dmaireroa.com/workPrint.php, is dead.

Other than than, all seems fine to me ...

Cheers,

Nice. Can you tell us what module you used for the portfolio (Work/Websites) page?

Hi pixelita

What do you mean by module? I had a look and it seems like the normal default ones; CMSMailer, FileManager, MenuManager, etc. Is that what you were asking for? Or were asking about the gallery effect?

Your Work (Portfolio) page/gallery, here:

I am curious what you used, if anything.

I thought so cause I was pointing at the gallery earlier  :D, no worries then. I am using 'Lightbox 2' http://www.huddletogether.com/projects/lightbox2/

All I did, was create a 'global_content', with the 'liberal' inside for javascript...and that was it, pretty easy  ;). Maybe there is a easier way in cmsms if someone likes to share or input??

Sweet  :)

How does you make cmsms integrated with wordpress?

Oh my gosh! I didn't know someone posted on this topic. I kept my cmsms and wordpress separate, since I was in a hurry to get my site up. As long as you work out your CSS in the wordpress template, so it fits nicely with the cmsms. I think there might be a easier way, I'm not sure e.g. a wordpress plugin module for cmsms, etc.

Too easy, hope that helps.
