Image displays fine in News summary but not in News Detail

Post by newvision »

I placed an image in the News Summary via the "image" at the bottom of the page where I added Summary and Content. The image shows up fine in the News summary Column but does not show up at all in the content page and not only that, all of my content appears as if in a a very narrow column.  If I remove the image from the bottom of the page and try to insert it in the Content page, I get the same results.  The image is never displayed at all. I created a field definition but I don't know where or how to insert that. Here is the web site: http://www.youngevityvirginia.com.  The news article is the first one, "Mark Your Calendar"

It's there but it looks like the content box it goes into is set at a specific height so it goes below the fold, looks like with this template/theme you need to call a detailo page for your news to go to so it can open in full...

I am sorry,  but I am not sure what you mean. Can you give me a little more information on how I can resolve this?
thanks for your assistance.

With the news set the way you have it, not having a detailpage= parameter set in tag for news, makes in display in whatever div has {content} tag in it and for that template it is...

Which is set to a specific height by the JS for the slide show...

So unless you call a detailpage= it will always be partially hidden...
