Listings look fine in Firefox but formatting is very different / crude in IE8
The calendar is here:

Any ideas on how to make the css work for IE?

Can't get to your site at all to see the problem.
You probably have to play around with the styles for IE8, or you could try adding this metatag:
Nullig

Thanks, This made it a bit better but gave me some other problems. I may try another calendar module.
Do you mean my site is not in your name server or it was not reachable? The site was registerd about five days ago and I can see it in the nameservers I tried.

I can reach it now, but it takes forever to load.

It was the pre and code tags that had rowfeeds. When I removed those and made some other css changes it looks OK.
Slow loads; don't know. Still? They load in a blink here...

2 Things...
1) You have cookie code in the top of the , most likely it should go in bottom of template just above ...
2) Calendar has unused code at beginning the is most likely from putting the tag in content box near other text, turn tiny off and remove from around the tag and the stuff also, go into calendar template and remove the extra tt stuff...
