Hello,
I just installed CMSMS 1.6.6. and I wanted to delete all the default pages. I expanded all the sections, pressed the top check box and deleted all the pages. In the frontend all the pages are still there. In the admin backend the "Pages" page is empty not showing any possibility to edit the pages, add new, or whatever.
Any suggestions how to solve this?
Thanks,
Maarten

Re: Impossible to add new pages after deleting all (1.6.6)
Hi Rolf,
I just tried. It didn't help. If I look in the database through Phpmyadmin the pages are all there, and the active column for all the pages contains a "1".

Are you logged in as a user that has administrator-permissions? As otherwise it might be an permiision-issue, where you only are allowed to add pages UNDER a page that has you as an additional-editor... As no page exists, that might be causing this.

Hi Ronny,
I'm logged in as the user I used when installing CMSMS. This should have admin rights I hope, since it is the only user in the system.
Thanks,
Maarten

Re: Impossible to add new pages after deleting all (1.6.6)
I think I've got a work around. What I did was create a new user with admin rights. If I log in with this user, I can see all the pages listed in the backend. I can now delete the pages, but not in a cascading mode using the top checkbox.
If I log in with the original user I now have a functional "Pages" backend page again.

Maarten, if the problem is solved, please put [solved] in the title of the first post.mboerma wrote: I think I've got a work around. What I did was create a new user with admin rights. You can use the button 'Modify' for this.
Have fun with CMSMS
