New Admin theme !!... need some feedback please...

and, and two new modules that work with this theme...

What this mod does is house the dependent mod and will (though the admin side is so not done) control the dependent mods...

The first dependent mod is...

A Ajax shout box

This is also a rough at the moment... it works but it's well rough...

So there will be more of the dependent mods like New FEU alert box, or Statistic at a glance box...


This is just the start... the admin portal will be designed for the theme only at this point... if it's want in another theme it'll need to be added... just add..

$AdminPort = &$gCms->modules['AdminPort']['object']; 
if($AdminPort){
$AdminPort->GetPORTS();
}

somewhere (and the global $gCms; if needed)

Hi there - I'm not sure if it's okay to add a post to this one - or maybe better to start a new one??? - but I'm just wondering if there's any chance that you could provide some instructions as to how to install your admin theme - in fact, any hints in general as to how to install an admin theme would be much appreciated!!

In googling around, I've come across this page: http://themes.cmsmadesimple.org/Downloa ... .html  which gives some instructions as to how to install an admin theme, but in unzipping yours, there seem to be more filetypes than are covered in these instructions, so I'm really lost as to what to do...

Hello, will remeber this is just a beta, test idea but to install it al you need to do is throw it in the admin folder under the themes with the rest.  I have not had time to work on it any more but will hopfully soon.  The other part are just mods that you could install... Hope this helps.. Cheers

Thanks very much for your reply   I'm just back to this again...  can I check by admin folder under themes, do you mean the Layout>Theme Manager option?  Where all the page templates get imported?  Also, do I import the top folder in the unzipped files, or best to import still zipped?

Sorry if these questions are obvious - am still a newbie!

I'm using CMSMS 1.6.4 in case that's useful to know..
