So I'm confused on subnavigation or maybe I'm not supposed to even use it. So lets say I have a webpage with my main navigation. When you click on "services" for example, I want to show that page with the appropriate content. However within the content or actually on a side column block I'd like to have 4 links called "test 1" "test 2" etc... and when clicked they show the content of those specific services.
Would I just use basic hyperlinks and point em to the page= ? or would I use some sort of sub nav?
Thanks!
Subnavigation? Hyperlinks In Content Page
Re: Subnavigation? Hyperlinks In Content Page
I would go for dynamic logic. So either by a secondary menu, or by showing site_mapper for that parent, to show the child pages as clickable links. From the content, new pages can be added, and when they are in the same parent, they show dynamically, either in the menu OR in the sitemap.

You may want to look at the Top simple navigation + left subnavigation + 1 column template to see how it does it, the pages will have to be children of the page your on for this to work...
Re: Subnavigation? Hyperlinks In Content Page
hmmm this is all a little confusing seeing as I'm still trying to learn this product. umm...ok let me ask this. I want the boss to be able to edit the content as easily as possible. So I'm guessing with that said, I should make pages for sure. So... if he updates the pages..then the links on the "services" page would work/update as well.
So I'm not familiar enough with children of the page or site_mapper, etc. I know I can make pages children of parent pages. I just don't know what it does or looks like just yet....
