Forbidden 403 error - editing pages in admin panel. [SOLVED]

Post by Vall »

Hello,

I've looked for a solution here and on Google but unfortunetely nothing proposed fixed it.

Every time I try to edit some page (the default ones, or created by me) I get a 403 Forbidden popup (after clicking on "Apply"), or a 403 Forbidden page on submit. I can add new pages (tho I can't edit them later on), and delete existing ones.

At first I installed 1.6.4, but when I noticed it doesn't work I updated to 1.6.6, still the problem persists. I've also tried reseting cache, changing file permissions and similar stuff.

Everything is default noe (Fresh install).

Here's some of the info:

----------------------------------------------

Cms Version: 1.6.6

Installed Modules:

   * CMSMailer: 1.73.14
   * FileManager: 1.0.1

   * default_upload_permission: 664
   * assume_mod_rewrite: false
   * page_extension:
   * internal_pretty_urls: false
   * use_hierarchy: true

Php Information:

   * phpversion: 5.2.0
   * md5_function: On (True)
   * gd_version: 2
   * tempnam_function: On (True)
   * magic_quotes_runtime: Off (False)
   * memory_limit: 72M
   * max_execution_time: 30
   * safe_mode: Off (False)
   * session_save_path: No check because open basedir active
   * session.use_cookies: On (True)

Server Information:

   * Server Api: apache2handler
   * Server Db Type: MySQL (mysql)
   * Server Db Version: 5.0.26

----------------------------------------------

Any help would be really appreciated.

Edit:

Not sure if it helps anyone, but here's the error from my server log:

Code: Select all

[Wed Dec 16 17:05:19 2009] [error] [client 83.23.46.12] ModSecurity: Access denied with code 403 (phase 2).

Hello, thanks. :)

I did, I'm awaiting some kind of reply. ;)

Edit:

The host replied that it was some problem with their settings, so the solution would be:

- Try asking your host before posting stupid threads on the forum. ;)

Thanks and cheers. :)
