[solved] Popups in CMSMS

Post by janvl »

Hi

I have become a question for "popups" in CMSMS.
I managed to use javascipt and iframes to realise that.

See http://www.freiheitfuertiere.org and put the mouse on
TEST LOES 1, 2 and 3 you see the div pop up, clicking on the
red part at the bottom closes the div.

I wonder if it is possible to realise this, so that I do not have to
open my own HTML-Files in an iframe, preferably so that my
customer can change the content with tinymce.

I would be gratefull for a better idea.

Regards,
Jan

iFrames are old school, have a look at jQuery tools:

http://flowplayer.org/tools/index.html

Look at the examples to see how you can have nice popups.

Thank you very much,

I will study the examples and am sure I will use them,
after having just a glance at it.

I have written a "howto" for the solution that I made in the
german forum.
http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... 616.0.html
I knew it is not a highlight but this customer needed something on
short term.

I know iframes are "outdated" but I am still getting uptodate
after being out of the IT for a lot of years. CMSMS helps me get
back on track, I have learned a lot analysing how things are
done.

kind regards,
Jan
