cms_selflink alt tag - changing description?

Howdy,

I'd like to be able to make the alt tag (pop-up box when you hover over a link) for the cms_selflinks to reflect the Menu Text name, not the page Title... is this possible?

Hi ncd

I think you can use the description field in the options tab of the page for this.

Is there a way to automate it though, ie some code I can put in the template so that it will use the Menu text so we don't have to add to the description each time we create a page?

In order to this you probably should hack the function.cms_selflink.php file.
But I'm never happy with this kind of solutions... $:-\$
