CMSMS no longer working, finding files

I had to change the domain name for my hosting account (plesk) because the client chose a different domain name.  After doing so and actually pointing the domain at my server, my beautiful CMSMS site went to pieces.  

When I try to visit the site, i can see the first div (header) of the site and this error above:

string(109) "Smarty error: [in tpl_body:23 line 24]: [plugin] unknown tag - 'cms_module' (core.load_plugins.php, line 124)" string(106) "Smarty error: [in tpl_body:23 line 76]: [plugin] unknown tag - 'content' (core.load_plugins.php, line 124)"

When i pull up the admin cp and try to do anything in site admin, i get smarty errors:
unable to read resource: "siteprefs.tpl"
unable to read resource: "systeminfo.tpl"

CMSMS must have lost paths to some critical files when i changed the domain name and/or got the domain resolving...  

What can I do???

Linux, PHP 5.2.6, CMSMS 1.6.6 (latest stable version i think this is it)

Did you change anything in the config.php as it is looking for or thinks it's the other domain, you may have to put the install folder back in and run install...

BUT AT STEP 5 DON'T MAKE TABLES OR INSTALL DEFAULT CONTENT, it's a tick when adding DB info...

i had a typo in the config.php file.  that's what i get for burning the midnight oil on it.  thanks!
