installation problem...

Hello i installed the app ok (after trying it on another site - and havign ftp clientissues)

it claims it installs ok but when i try and log onto the admin section i get the following errors

does anyone have any idea what i have done incorrectly or how i can make everything groovy?

I'm sorry, but I dont' understand your post

Can you try to explain again or upload a screenshot somewhere?

I uploaded the files and set up the database
i then ran the install.php and followed it through to its conclusion

during this time i noticed the following at the top of each installation step (before the cms made simple banner)

After the installation was complete the installer said

i then followed the link to the page which said
"Congratulations! You now have a fully functional installation of CMS and you are almost ready to start building your site. First thing though, you should click here to check if your site requires a database upgrade. After you have confirmed you are up to date, then we can get cracking on the site development!

"

At the php /ftp error text listed before was still at the top.

I then clicked on the "Admin" link to take me to the Admin log in section...
which never came, just that text at the top - although the server seemed to be thinking about it for a very long time (as indicated by the progress bar at at the bottom of IE)

perhaps i should try removing all the installation code and trying again

what do you think i should do?

I've never seen text like that before. I would try deleting and restarting again.
