Annoying "Many Baskets Cart Utility" Problem

I can not seem to get the 'many baskets' adding product funtion to work with the 'products' module.

When I apply the following: {ManyBaskets product='product=$entry->id'} to the 'Summary' or 'Detail' template within the products module its return the following below. 

It returns this "A supplied parameter has an incorrect value: product" .

Im not sure whats wrong with this and I do not know how to get around it. I am using using the Many baskets module over the cart module.

In preferences of the product module the Cart moduler parameters are set to 'product=$entry->id' and the cart option is set to use Many basket Cart utility.
