Hi all -
I'm new to CMS MS, but I like what I see so far. I'm using v. 1.6.6.
For the website I'm working on, I have a Products page. Each product also has its own page set up as a "child" of Products within the Current Pages list. I would like to place a drop down menu (a jump menu) on the main Products page. I would like the elements of this drop down menu to be dynamically generated and link to each of the child pages.
I've tried using the Menu Manager for this, but all of the examples apply a menu to the template file. I don't want to do that... I want to add the drop down menu within the content for a specific page. Is that possible?
I apologize if this has been covered in other threads, but I searched and I couldn't find much useful information.
Thanks!
Drop down jump menu

I would not mix-up products with pages. Each product also has its own page set up as a "child" of Products within the Current Pages list
It is not clear why you can not use products module only (product hierarchy should fit your bill). How many "child" pages you are going to create?
Have you considered Cataloger module? People are also very happy with module "ctlmodulemaker".
If your products have separate pages, i am afraid you will have to use MenuManager. Appearance of menu is not an issue.I've tried using the Menu Manager for this, but all of the examples apply a menu to the template file. I don't want to do that...
