which version of WAMP should I use for a local install of CMSMS?

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

Post by maagnh »

I installed the latest WAMP server version but apparently it's using a version of PHP that CMSMS does not support yet.

Can someone tell me which of the older versiosn of WAMP would work with CMSMS on a Windows XP machine for testing?

Thanks

You can use Wamp 2.0i but after installation, go to the tray icon, right click and go to PHP > Version.  Click on get more and that will take you to the page that has the PHP 5.2.11 download.  Install, restart services, and go back to PHP>Version and select 5.2.11.
