[SOLVED] CGExtensions 1.17.5 Issue ( and yes I have PHP 5.2 +)

Hi guys,

Got a weird issue with CGExtensions, this has been happening with a few sites when I go to either upgrade or freshly install the latest  CGExtensions module. However as soon as I remove it, the issue is gone.

Once it is installed, I will navigate away to either something like the content pages area or to another module and Firefox wants to open the file e.g listcontent.php, IE cant find the page.

In the Apache access log this error is reported:

[Thu Nov 12 13:01:33 2009] [notice] child pid 11016 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

It doesn't matter if i have minimum modules installed:

Try upgrading php to 5.2.9 -5.2.11.
Also i find CGExtensions: 1.17.4 to be stable (trying  1.17.5 ATM).

Was about to downgrading the module, then I saw a newer one has just been released (1.17.6) so I though I would try that and if that caused me any issues, I would downgrade again or upgrade the php.

So far so good!

I'm planting this as solved.
