[Solved] Problem with Pretty URLs and .htaccess protected folders

Help with getting the CMS CORE package up and running. This does not include 3rd party modules, PHP scripts, anything downloaded via module manager or from any external source.

OMG this solved the problem!!!
techpro wrote: The thing that solved the problem was to create a file 401.shtml in the public_html folder. This file can be one byte long if you want. In all the time I have been working on sites under cPanel I have never needed to create a custom 401 page, in fact I didn't know the option existed, so I just didn't think of it, and it was not specifically mentioned in the forum posts.

Hopefully this will help others who experience the same problem to solve it a bit more quickly.
I am slowly moving all sites and client sites to a CPanel hosting company which has been fantastic so far, but on 3rd website move, suddenly the pages would only appear as either WWW or NON-WWW - but not both.

I had never had to touch the .htaccess files before, so when I read this I tried it - AND IT WORKED!!!

Thank you so much - you have saved me from hours more of combing the forums!

Sending you a big hug :)
