print module doesn't work in 1.6.6?

Post by admsh »

i've just installed two brand new instances of CMSMS, and the printing module brings back a blank page. at first i thought it was something i was doing wrong, but then i tried with a brand new, untouched installation and i get the same result.

i this a known bug? is there a solution?

Works on mine, did you get any warnings/errors when installing, look in System info page for yellow ! or red X it may be a setting is stopping it...

More info = more help...

okay i'd really appreciate some help getting to the bottom of this. some research showed it's definitely a hosting configuration issue, but it's very unclear what it is. both the print module and CGGoogleMaps don't work under hosting accounts on Jumpline.com (which is actually a very reliable shared hosting service). i've never had any problems with it in the past and it seems these problems started with the 1.6 branch.

the print module simply doesn't work, right out of the box, although there are no warnings during installation of the CMS whatsoever.

i'll gladly give someone admin access to my server to try and figure out why this is happening. from searches in the forum it seems there re a lot of people experiencing a problem with CGGoogleMaps that might be related to this as well, and i've seen a few posts describing the same problem with the print module (blank page, no content), but folks don't realise it has to do with the server config.
