1.6.6 bug?

On an installation of 1.6.6, with the latest CGExtensions 1.17.4 (not sure if that's relevant), suddenly pages marked 'inactive' disappear from 'Content > Pages' view, however, they still reside in the content table of the database.

Want to find out if this is isolated to my installation, or if perhaps there's bug (and the workaround).

Make sure that all files are transferred correctly to you system. This has been an issue in earlier releases, so better check that all is there as latest.

Did you upgrade, or was this a clean install?

Keep in mind, that only pages, where people have access to, are shown in Content -> Pages.

it was an upgrade, and i have redone it now as a clean install

but i have to tell you, i've run into some cataclysmic issues with this latest release in regards to the admin/control panel area.

examples are news page, having entries, however, all that gets displayed on the page are the tabs and then nothing where it normally list a tabs content.

i've seen it happen on many pages, both within the core and the modules. unfortunately there are no clues to be found in the error logs.

perhaps it's not able to run cleanly when utilizing fastcgi to deliver php5? however, i still run into these problems if i attempt to revert back to php4.

well, that WAS one of the pages NOT showing anymore

i'm investigating things at the server level now - i've reason to believe there are a couple of things going on, so, although i've run into the issue mentioned, not quite on the scale that i've most recently experienced.

will update thread for the benefit of others with findings/results

any thoughts, help in chasing this down would be greatly appreciated, i've been a huge advocate of CMSMS, but i'm just overwhelmed with the errors i've been experiencing with the recent version upgrades.

Your site seems to work mostly good for me. Tested on FF3.0 and IE8
But I get "OK The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request."
on these four pages:
news, upcoming-events, alias-5, weather.

So maybe something wrong in the code just for these pages - or these pages uses a module these pages have in common...
you error is:
"error parsing headers: duplicate header 'Status',"
so it should be some header code that is sent twice....

unfortunately, that error will happen randomly, and is not isolated to the pages you mention.

i get a similar error in the logs of other sites/installations, but not resulting in the 500 error.

at the moment, it's looking like part of the core installation is at the root of the problem.
