Forum search problem?

Hi

Is there something wrong with the forum?

I posted a question in the CSS & Layout forum yesterday. I got an email notification that someone had replied, but when I got there, there was nothing.

That's OK, these things happen.  But more worryingly, if I search for my question I can't find it. It's not on the listings, and the advanced search brings up nothing.  (I can find other posts I've made but not that one).

From the email I got, I know the posting is still there - http://forum.cmsmadesimple.org/index.ph ... =38643.new;

So why isn't my posting appearing on the forum list and in the search?  Thought I'd better tell someone about this.

It could have been spam. Akismet then doesnt publish the reply, but leaves it for forum-admins to be approved first. There is no reply in Akismet atm, so it might have been deleted (for being spam indeed).

Another option could be that the user removed his reply after posting it first.

Usually if you press "replay" spam is listed like all other replies . You can still read it.

Weird.  I pressed 'reply' to my original message and got this is red letters:

"Warning: this topic has not been posted in for at least 120 days.
Unless you're sure you want to reply, please consider starting a new topic"

which is odd, because it also says that the post date was yesterday.

Something's awry.  I'll try reposting.
