Opps: Menu manager and News disappered

HI,

I am pretty confused.

I have an MLE (1.6) installation running .. the site ist under construction because the customers do not have any content to add yet. But generally it works...

I just sometimes log in and check the site to see if anything happened...

Today I visited the frontend and could not see any news and no menu suddenly.

Then I checked the backend: In the module listing I see news and menu manager are still installed.

But there is no way to reach to them :

The links in backend-navigation usually leading to content->news and to Layout->menu manager just disapperad.

Summary:
Frontend: No menu and no news diplayed.
Backend: Modules installed - but no way to reach or edit  them. ...

Exception: When I open the module listing the I can see the menu-items .. but when I click it - I leads to the start of the cms-backend - which seems to simsilar to 404-error...

Sorry for that .. was in a little hurry yesterday and found that problem just at random.

Will check the error report.

Found out that directory "modules" changed to 755 ... but chmod didn't fix the problem ... I'm gonna try again later and maybe come back here if there is no solution.

I repared by re-installaing both modules ... but I am still confused why this happened. But I do not think that this is s MLE-problem.

What mle version do you have? It is recommendet to have CMSms-1.6.6-mle.
It seams you have not set locale. Locale can be set in config.php, or in CMS-mle-fork at "Site Admin » Global Settings » MLE languages".

Double check config_lang.php, you should look for " 'locale_cms'=>''," (you can fix it in admin panel)
