Hello,
I have a problem with my CMS sytem.
All worked fine, but to day when user wants to login to work on the website.
He gets an error that the page cannot be found.
this is the page where he is directed to;
/~friendsi/install/upgrade.php (port 80).
My question is, how does this happen and how to overcome it.
Thanks, Joost
wrong directory when login
Re: wrong directory when login
What version of CMS Made Simple, have you done anything to it recently, if it goes to install you and you haven't upgraded then you need to remove the install folder...
Most times this would happen if you went to upgrade and never ran /install/upgrade.php, do you get site down for maintenance when trying to see site?...

Re: wrong directory when login
Hello,
Thanks for you comment.
I think I'm running the latest version of the CMS.
The site is up and running no problem there.
There is no install directory.
I only see this problem when I try to login to the control panel.
I don't have a clou what caused this.
Any ideas?
Thanks Joost

Hi Joostsoo
Try to create a new config.php file. Perhaps your host changed some serverpaths...
- Make a backup of files and database first.
- Copy the install folder back on to the server.
- Open website.com/install
- Follow the steps, but DON'T create tables and default content in step 5 it was I think. Uncheck this options.
- A new config.php is created with all the right serverpaths.
- Delete the install folder and chmod444 the config.php file.
And try to login again.
