Browse modules by popularity/downloads?

Post by Oskar Rough »

There are tons of modules to CMSMS and thank you all for that. However, it's quite hard to get an overview in the forge. Is there a way to sort the modules by popularity or downloads?

Would make it a lot easier to explore modules and see if they're actually being used.

Thanks. It would be nice to have a bigger list though - it's a nice way of finding new modules you never knew you needed :-)

I think it's very hard to define or quantify "popularity".

If you look at the number of downloads, there is already a list in the Forge.

In this list of the "Big Ten" you find at least 3 modules that won't be maintained any longer. (though that in itself doesn't have to be bad either)

True, true.

I'm just saying that I miss a way of finding new modules Looking through an alphabetic list of 21 pages isn't that helpful at that. The 10 most downloaded is a start but yeah =)
