I prepared a News during the morning and told the system to publish it the same day at 4PM. But it appeared immediatly...
News help says "you can set publication date" - doesn't say about time.
So... is pub. time supposed to work? If not (which I can understand!), it would perhaps be better to remove the hour/min/sec selectors so we're not deceived anymore...
TIA as usual !

Re: News module - when are news published ?
alot of work has been done with news lately, so it would help to know which version of news you were working with, and which version of CMS. Sorry, but because this is a rapidly developed system, a bug you report may already be fixed, and we have no way of knowing it if we don't know what version(s) of the software you're working with.

Re: News module - when are news published ?
The time code in 0.11.2 is pretty buggy. The queries have been totally redone and should work better after 0.12 is released. (this is all assuming that you're on 0.11.2.
)
Re: News module - when are news published ?
Yep, I'm using 0.11.2 - it's my official website, i don't feel like playing with betas...
Calguy1000: you're right, excuse me for not including details - I'm going to include those in my signature.
BTW, how can I know which News version i'm using ? (and more generally, which version for all modules and tags : some {CMSInfo} tag would be fine, to mimic PHPInfo() function...
So: good news for me are : v0.12 will manage news release time. Great ! I'll wait for 0.12.1 release so...

Oooops
... don't tell me what I have in my eyes, it stinks... I feel I'll soon go back to n00b level...
...Would be nice & coherent to have version numbers for Tags, anyway.
So it appears I have News 2.0.1, I'll try to get the latest News version and install it.
